Get to Know Bethany Rose
Bethany Rose, originally from Waterloo, Iowa is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Inspired by R&B and gospel, she has a unique sound by infusing different rhythms and elements from tropical music, Afrobeat, hip-hop, and jazz into her music.
Bethany has shared the stage with artists such as Mary J. Blige, Lupe Fiasco, Yolanda Adams, Jordan Smith, Dionne Warwick, Amber Riley, and Kristin Chenoweth, to name a few. Over the past six years, she has toured as a vocalist with Legendary Argentinian composer and singer, Leo Dan, and more recently, international star, Angela Carrasco. She has also contributed vocals to a variety of studio recordings such as Childish Gambino’s, “Awaken My Love,” and television shows, “Glee,” and “Army Wives.”
Because of her love for tropical music and always thinking outside the box, in 2018, she teamed up with Los Angeles based producer, Ivan Castro, to create an English/Spanish salsa version of her original pop/R&B song, “Goodbye”. The song was released in December 2018 for worldwide distribution.
In April 2020, she released an R&B/pop single, “Love of My Life” as a duet with Grammy nominated producer, B.Slade, which is the first single off of her debut EP album. Since this release, she teamed up with artist/musician, Will Gittens, and co-wrote and released 2 more singles off the album. The full album was just released in September 2024.
Meanwhile, she teamed up with Montreal, Canadian based Latin Grammy nominated producer, Ricky Campanelli, and co-writer, David Lopera, to write and record two bachata songs. “Ya No Estas Mas,” which was released in July 2021, and “Take Me Away” which was released on November 12, 2021. She completed a media tour in the Dominican Republic to promote the two songs, performing live on 25+ internationally televised TV shows and popular radio programs.

At the end of 2022, Bethany teamed up with producer, DJ Chucky in New York, and with him, she wrote and recorded two new bachatas, "Esperando Por Ti, and "Otra Vez." These new songs were released in February and March of 2023. Her most recent bachata release was in February of 2024. She teamed up with Joselito El Mutante and recorded a bachata version of her song, "4EVER," this was also translated and recorded in Spanish as well, and the title of the track is "Por Siempre."
